My big fat Greek salad

Check out this colorful beauty:

Everybody loves a salad. Whether you have it as a side or as your main, a salad is delicious, nutritious and so easy to make! Well, because of the feta cheese this dish is probably not the healthiest option.

If u like your Greek salad and you don't want to spare the cheese, but you want to cut down on some calories, then don't use the amount of feta I have used here and also don't cut those big chunks of it. Instead, use only about half of the amount below and crumble it over the salad. For all the rest of you, salad and feta cheese lovers, here are the ingredients I have used for that yummy meal:

This is enough as a side dish for four people: Classic Greek Salad

Chop up 3 capsicums (red, yellow and green) in big nice chunks and but them onto a big serving platter. Add a handful of halved cherry tomatoes. Peel a big onion, slice it into half, the halves into three and half the thirds again. Pull the layers apart and add them to your bowl. Take some olives (seeded or deseeded, whatever you prefer) from a jar and add them to your platter. Take about 200 grams of feta cheese and slice it up into thumb sized chunks and put them on top of your salad.  Use some of the liquid from the olivejar (about two tbsp) to dress your salad. Season it with Salt and a good pinch of pepper. Add some olive oil and use parsley for decoration. Enjoy!
